Terrapin Landscapes

When we bought our antique house, the backyard was in extensive need of a remodel that included both hardscape and landscape elements. What had once been gardens designed by a horticulturist had long been overgrown. Thankfully, a friend had used Terrapin for their yard and recommended them to us. From the start, we found them incredibly professional. We met with Mike on several occasions to discuss our needs and, once we had a plan in place, the project began on time and ended on time. It was a huge project that started with extensive hardscape work, including an outdoor fireplace, patio with terraced stairs ascending to it from the side yard, a seating wall, and an outdoor kitchen. The team seemed excited about this and every single person on the job demonstrated care and pride for our projects' success. They were friendly, meticulous, and went the extra mile. When it came time for the soft scape, Terrapin's knowledgeable fine gardening team worked with us to respect the property's history and create an oasis that is as functional as it is beautiful. When the project was complete, I found a surprise piece of stone, shaped like Maine, with a heart on it in my gardens. This team created a yard that is truly a work of art. It goes far beyond our expectations.and we happily recommend Terrapin without hesitation.

Mike and crew at Terrapin Landscapes were extremely attentive and meticulous with our landscaping needs. Not only did they do a major landscaping renovation to our new home, but they very efficiently coordinated installation of a new irrigation system and installed a beautiful split rail fence, all in just over a week! They have been available for follow-up questions and additional needs. We would highly recommend Terrapin Landscapes.

Mike, Jeff and their team completed a large bluestone patio, walkway and fire pit at our home. They were professional, responsive and extremely accommodating. The workmanship was fantastic, they showed up on time and the communication throughout the project was excellent.
