Select Design and Construction

Letitia has such a talent for creating a beautiful home with her unique and creative eye for style and design. She guides you through the whole process, gets to know her client’s personal style and taste, but also helps them add unique touches. I’ve always stuck with neutral colors and designs and I’m thrilled she helped me bring some color and pattern in our new home! I am most impressed with Letitia and Sergey’s attention to detail and finding ways to get something done when other contractors told us it couldn’t be done.

We have an older home that has been added onto many times and needs continuous maintenance. When our previous "problem solver" retired, we found Sergey and Letitia. Since 2019, they have handled practically all aspects of our home and property maintenance, either directly or through trusted associates. This includes meticulous indoor and outdoor historical finish carpentry work, complete interior and exterior painting and repair and regrading the property for drainage. They have repaired our rickety antique stairs, installed new automatic attic stairs in a very tricky spot, reinstalled the historical box locks and other old hardware, recreated the outdoor banisters and repaired/replaced external fascia. They have rescued us from a previously undiagnosable plumbing leak, replaced the damaged ceilings, and provided emergency help when we had a severe electrical short and fire caused by bad, old wiring. They replaced a leaking flat membrane roof and repaired a copper one blown off by a storm. We use Select Design and their partners for virtually all our work, and feel completely comfortable having them come and go, even if we aren't at home. Sergey and Letitia are careful to keep the budget in mind. Typically, we will get a good-better-best proposal of how to build or fix things, and a clear explanation of the benefits of choosing one route over another. Cindy and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We are happy to write a review for Letitia and Sergey’s company, Select Design and Construction. In early 2022 while Covid was still ongoing we had them renovate two bathrooms for us at the same time. They informed us of possible delays due to supply shortages because of Covid. They then planned out both bathrooms sending us blueprints and 3-D image’s to review. Letitia has a great eye for design and picked out our colors, tile, and lighting. The job was started and both of these fine people did a great job of coordinating. One of them would stop by almost daily to follow the progress of their hard working staff. The real pride of their company would have to be the permanent staff whose workers were at our house almost daily. We found them to be extremely hard-working and knowledgeable. The job was done in a timely fashion and we were very pleased with the results. Almost a year and a half later we experienced an electrical problem with our lighted mirror and they immediately sent an electrician over to diagnose the problem and find a replacement connector wire from the lighted mirror company. In short, they stand behind their work and they are a five star company! Steve and Anne Campbell
