Ivis Torres is a professional dancer, performer, and instructor with more than 19 years of training and 9 years of teaching experience. Ivis’ passion for dance began at a very early age when she started creative movement classes at 3 years old. At age 7, Ivis started training more rigorously with ballet, jazz, and gymnastics and by age 14 she was competing pre-professionally. By 17 years old, Ivis was dancing 8 hours a day to develop her skills and sharpen her technique in different styles of dance including Contemporary, Jazz, Hip Hop, Salsa, Bachata and others.
Shortly after the birth of her daughter in 2019, Ivis decided to found REACH DANCE STUDIO, a place to inspire creativity, self-love, and passion through the beautiful art of dance.
Reach has given my daughter courage, passion, strength, friends, teamwork and mentorship. The instructors are amazing and the bond that has formed will be there for life! I am so glad we chose this studio to be our dance home!
My daughter has been at Reach for several months. She loves her teachers and the director does an excellent job of making every dancer feel seen and known.
