5 Star Review By Nathan House
Just outstanding breakfast. I was wanting pancakes but didn’t want to drive to North Little Rock or Conway. I also regularly eat breakfast at another local restaurant and didn’t want their pancakes. I jumped on Google and Peppermill came up. I saw a photo of pancakes and chicken strips and I knew right away I wanted THAT for breakfast. It wasn’t on the menu, but I let our waitress know I wanted two chicken strips and two pancakes. My wife ordered a breakfast sandwich. We also saw some biscuits and gravy on the plate of another patron and we were tempted into ordering those as well. We told our waitress, Andi, that it was our first time here and she said, “Well, get ready for a treat.” Let me tell you, she wasn’t kidding. Everything was just excellent! The chicken strips are some of the cleanest, best tasting strips I’ve ever had and they paired perfectly with the pancakes. The biscuits and gravy were also excellent. My wife reports that she enjoyed her breakfast sandwich and hashbrowns. My coffee was very good also. We noticed pies and some red velvet cake with cream cheese icing in the restaurant also. I just couldn’t do any more sweets, but my wife ordered two fried pies to go for her and our son. I’m sorry I didn’t take better pictures before I dug in. I wasn’t expecting to write a review beforehand but after digging in it was just all too good to not say something. I was honestly intimidated by the name “Peppermill” before I came. I’m not a big fan of pepper. But “pepper” isn’t anything more than just a name. Their food is all excellent and to my tastes. I wish they were open earlier and later so I would be able to fit more visits into my routine, but I totally understand. I look forward to coming back and bringing others with me.
