All-Around Great!
Our 35 year old huge gnarly serious shade dropping Mulberry had to be removed. It provided a ton of shade to our backyard and we knew we needed to go with an awning and some drop shades for the scorching sun/heat that is to come as well as addressing the the hot setting sun that always streamed through our sliding glass doors even with the tree. We decided on Don's Awnings, because after all our research the quality and durability could not be beat and also because Don is well seasoned in his knowledge of this product and fully explained everything and also answered all our questions with confidence and ease. From my first conversation with Don to the last, all went smooth, it was really a nice experience.
So we have had our awning and drop shades for about 2 weeks and we LOVE them. The awning is so quiet that while I was demonstrating to a friend how the drop shades work and wondering why the remote was not working for the drop shades, my friend told me that I had just opened and closed the awning! I did not even know I was using the wrong remote because I was so concentrating on the drop shades and did not hear the awning open because it is that smooth and quiet. Oh and we got the add on lights too and they are great because they provide exceptional lighting which will come in handy when we want to do our projects outside during the sometimes cool evenings of summer. Nice to have a choice!
In summary, Don was great, his product is great and his crew was great in setting up and paying attention to detail as well as cleaning up thoroughly. Thank you again Don!
