They have a storyteller there named Mr. Steve who used to work at the nearby Barnes and Noble bookstore until they fired him. Now he entertains kids at Loveworks and those story times are just the absolute best! A million stars!
I have been volunteering with Loveworks Leadership for a few years and it has been an incredible experience! I've had the opportunity to work with some amazing students, and I'm constantly impressed by their creativity, leadership and ingenuity. The Loveworks Leadership staff does a terrific job of offering programs and events that are exciting and enriching and provide students and volunteers with the chance to grow and improve their skills and talents. This is a fantastic organization and it offers volunteers the chance to work with some truly remarkable students.
