"Tell me why you love this place" What's not to love? KGAL rocks! Big shout out to James Wright, Lebanon's Local Music Man, and one heck of a customer service rep for KGAL! I recently had a billing issue, and Jim was there in under two minutes- no joke! Sure, I got lucky that he was close when I texted, but that kind of Johnny-on-the-Spot service is fantastic. James will take care of you, and will help you craft advertising packages that make sense. The premier radio frequency in Linn County, KGAL 1580 covers Lebanon sports and local news in addition to great talk radio. Jeff McMahon is a consummate professional and makes a half hour fly by even for the most nervous of ValleyTalk guests. Charlie Eads runs a great ship, supported heavily by the wonderful Mary Eads. Their station is cozy and engaging--both on the air and at their physical location. KGAL provides free PSAs (public service announcements) for non-profits and causes in the area as well. I'm a little biased, but there's no beating KGAL 1580 for knowing what's happening in Linn County.
