Hampden Run Park

Love Hampden Run Park. It is a good mix of challenging climbing for elementary kids but easy enough that younger kids can still use the playground. It is always a diverse group of kids there with parents watching and interacting with their kids. It has a great open field to kick a soccer ball or play tag. The field is far enough away there isn’t a concern a ball or child will end up on the busy road. It has a nice stream for exploring and a wide trail that backs up to a nature area if you are looking to take a longer walk. We will often grab a snack from McDonalds across the street and have a picnic at the park. It is really one of our favorite parks in the area.

Perfect for a little grad time. Just a few minutes to destress. Love the new play equipment. Can’t wait to bring my nieces!

Since they have redone all the playground equipment this place is hopping with excitement and happy sounds from many happy people.
