Fox's Lobster House

My friends and I visited Fox’s on a Saturday night. We were given a 40 minute wait time estimate, which proved to be pretty exact. We had drinks at the bar and an app. The bartender was so sweet to chat with! We were seated outside, and it was a bit buggy. We had to ask for silverware after our food had been sitting on the table for a few minutes. The food was good, but not anything to write home about. The view of the sunset from the dining room was beautiful though. I would probably choose to visit a new restaurant next time we’re in York, but wouldn’t be opposed to returning.

What a great spot to stop and eat. The menu has a nice selection. The food was high quality and delicious. We have done both the take out window and the full service inside. Depends on your mood and they let us choose. Look for the Fox signature dishes for something extra yummy. We shall return.

First time vacationing in Maine and had to try the fresh seafood! The clam chowdah (New England of course) was thick, creamy and loaded with clams. Taste was excellent. The lobster roll was packed with big chunks of lobster, lightly tossed with mayo. One of the best I've had in a while. When I tried the homemade blueberry pie, the first words I said was "tastes just like my mother's"! Flaky, melt in your mouth crust, loaded with wild Maine blueberries. Definitely a treat to finish off a great lunch. Fox's is right by Nubble Light, which we had a perfect view of from our table.
