Dr. Ellis is a gifted psychiatrist. He has helped me become a better and more mentally stable person. I like his approach to lifestyle and health before medication. This isn't to say he won't supply psychiatric medication. He will, just not liberally if you don't clinically need it. Highly recommend.
I have been seeing Dr. Ellis for two years. He is the only psychiatrist I have had that I feel really listens to me and asks for my input in my treatment. He also does not put me on more meds than I need to be on. He begins every appointment with "I'm here to listen" or "update me on what's going on.' Whereas some psychiatrists I have seen seem to see patients as puzzles, Dr. Ellis sees you as a person.
