5 Star Review By Joanne Mosgrove
We checked out a number of assisted living facilities before choosing Boone Ridge for a loved friend. It's been over a year since she moved in, and she absolutely loves it. The main reason we chose Boone Ridge was the staff. Every staff member that I've met truly loves the residents and goes above and beyond in caring for them. Especially with the challenges of covid, it's been so important to know that our friend is well cared for and not neglected in any way. The staff has become trusted friends as well as care partners. In addition to our friend, one of my brother-in-laws also moved to Boone Ridge from another facility and lived there till his death. When asked how he liked Boone Ridge, he'd say emphatically, "What's not to like? I like it all!" I can tell you that Boone Ridge's end-of-life caring is kind, competent, and compassionate. And now, my second brother-in-law, who has progressing memory issues, also lives at Boone Ridge. He, too, is "at home" there. The staff is doing a wonderful job of welcoming him and helping him adjust. I know food is always a big issue in assisted living. From what I hear from our friend and brother-in-law who live there, the food is nutritious and tasty. Optional entrees are always available, as are snacks. Our friend requires a diabetic diet, and they work hard at accommodating her. I could go on and on. I recommend Boone Ridge to anyone looked for a place like home for their loved ones. O, and the facility is nice and very well maintained.
