Super delicious food truck! The couple running it care about the food. Always good sized portions and the flavor is there. Only reason why I rated as 4 stars is because the hours are inconsistent and can't find updated hours anywhere. Will continue to be back here.
The thing about good bbq for me starts and almost ends with the meat, and Big D's does not disappoint on that count! The pulled pork is awesome, bits of the char bark and all. The burger was really great, clearly Big D knows his protein. The finish, is almost there with the sides. The slaw is yummy and all the sides very much have that homemade taste. The dirty mac with a delicious green chile had great flavor. My only criticism is the one thing most bbq struggle with, mac & cheese. It tastes home spun, but lacked some savouryness. It needed some sharp cheddar zing to go with the sweet tanginess of the green chile cheese melt. Last but not least, no bbq is truly good without sauce, and on this they did great. No array of a million lack luster sauces with funny names, just one delicious down-home sweet and tangy winner! Thanks for the deliciousness Big D's!
