Being in the banking industry for 20+ years as a branch manager for another financial institution you get too see both sides of the fence as an employee and a customer, and if you want to make everyone happy you just need to sell ice cream! I have been a Linn Co Credit Union member for several years and have always experienced respectful knowledgeable professional and member friendly service at the Lebanon branch location. If you do receive a new teller and or banker, and they are struggling and nervous just be kind because everyone has a first day on the job. Don’t get your title, statements, debit card- your responsible as a member to provide updated contact information, they don’t have a crystal ball. Have overdraft fees get a check book register and balance your account; online, 800 # etc., these are only tools to help you, keep track of your debits and credits, and keeping track in your mind is not efficient or effective.Upset about overdraft fees, than quit using money that you don’t have-think of it as interest. Need a notary or open an account just call and make an appointment with the banker, don’t call and show up when you decide and expect to be seen or have someone immediately available to service you. Need credit counseling because your lost, don’t qualify for a loan, contact your banker for counseling, they will be happy to help. Just had to post my two cents for all those whinny reviews!
