Summer Counselors
As a summer counselor, you will have the opportunity to mentor and guide campers through daily activities such as swimming, hiking, and arts and crafts. Counselors are crucial in creating a safe and fun environment where campers can grow both spiritually and socially. If you’re enthusiastic, responsible, and love the outdoors, this role is perfect for you.
Kitchen Staff
The kitchen staff at Camp Wyldewood plays an essential role in preparing and serving meals for campers and staff. You’ll work as part of a team to ensure that everyone at camp is well-fed with nutritious and delicious meals. Attention to cleanliness and safety standards is key in this position, as is the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Lifeguards
As a lifeguard, your primary responsibility will be the safety of campers in the water during swimming sessions and other water-related activities. You’ll need to be CPR certified and comfortable maintaining a high level of alertness to ensure the wellbeing of all participants.
Grounds Crew
If you enjoy working outdoors, maintaining beautiful landscapes, and ensuring that camp facilities are in top shape, consider joining the grounds crew. This position involves maintaining the campgrounds, including mowing, general landscaping, and minor repairs.
