Josh’s journey into the world of pond building started at a young age. His fascination with koi ponds and water features began while working at a garden center during high school. “When I was in high school, I worked for the garden center and they had a koi pond out back and I got to take care of it. And it was something I always really enjoyed. But at the time, I never thought I would have the ability to make one for myself or do anything with it” Josh recounts.

“I’m passionate about what I do, once the customers feel that passion then the project typically starts to head in the direction of more custom work. There are some builders that build with standard size rock, and it’s better from their crew standpoint because you can show up and turn it faster. I tend to attract the people that want custom work. Now my guys on the other hand, they would wish that sometimes they wish I’m not quite as custom,“ Josh jokes.
