Disappointed/Rip off
Here's the deal....this is my second job with you. The first one (Foundation Work) i was totally happy and over the moon. You were great, your price was reasonable and your work excellent. Your workers were fantastic.
The second project, not so good. ...It was bid at 5000...I should have questioned that right away when David said
"its a big basement." It's not, my basement (and house) is 1,200 sq feet. Not a big house in America. Had I thought about it , it was a crazy price. 2 guys for 2 days...do the math and I hope you are paying them well...but that's an exorbitant price for drilling and hinging. I never got a written estimate and I was super busy at the time and traveling. They came in did the job and probably they did it okay, I don't know...what i do know is the job site was a mess...no attempt at clean up, hinges and tools and debris all over the place. (Very unlike the previous job. )
I feel this job was grossly overpriced. Several neighbors have asked if I could recommend you guys and for earthquake retro fit I will say no.
I just cannot.
Too bad, because the first job you I would give you 5 stars for but absolutely not for Earthquake retrofit. I feel totally ripped off
