Valley Baptist Church

A wonderful church where the people are warm, welcoming, and transparent. The Pastor is very knowledgeable and LOVES the Bible and studying the Bible. One of my favorite events is "Ask the Pastor" Sundays where people are encouraged to ask questions and you really feel you're in a safe, loving space where your questions are welcome and not judged. There are community outreaches, women's ministry, men's ministry, small groups, youth Bible studies and something for just about everyone ❤️

Love the teaching, Pastor gives a small outline, that I personally appreciate, he explains meanings of some greek words in the N.T. The congregation is very sweet and attentive. Love small churches, where you get to know everyone.

The people are welcoming, and the worship and teaching are authentic. There are great programs for kids, including AWANA, which is rare for a small church. The population nearly doubles in the winter months, just like the rest of the city. It's small enough to feel like a family, and even more so with their focus on small "growth groups." It's a place where anyone can fit it, learn more about what it means to follow the Lord Jesus, and serve!
