For a small town in Southern Illinois, it is a rather large park with biking and walking paved trails. Soccer, baseball, tennis, football, skateboard area, RC crawler area, small animal zoo. Plenty of pavilions for family outings with play areas for kids jungle jim areas close by. Random flower pots and flowers with lots of well placed and natural trees. Lots of family donated setting benches. Very welcome and friendly people walking and everything else going on. Oh, I forgot Frisby golf course too. The fourth of the July display is second to none. Concerts and other outdoor activities, including custom and antique car shows. Beautiful pond / lake with colored lights and fountains with ducks, geese, and swans with fishing being welcomed. Most people are amazed at this park and so well kept. I love living here with the park being my most treasured place to pass through just for fun. Oh wait, I forgot the war veterans memorial. Shame on me.
