4 Star Review By R Y
Just to preface: my husband and I stopped in just an hour before closing time. There is a small parking lot kind of behind the building. It's built onto a slope and it's right on Halsey. I liked how bright and open the place was. The front space was full of baked goods. You can grab a tray and pair of tongs and load up. They also serve coffee and hot chocolate kinds of drinks. They had quite a few options even at the end of the day. Cookies, pastries (sweet and savory), and rolls. The food certainly looks delicious. Because it was the end of the day a few of our items were a bit dry and so so... But I think if we'd gotten them fresh it would be a different story. The cookies we got were delicious even the next day. I really liked this kind of heart shaped crisply cookie dipped in chocolate. The place was clean and had lots of seating towards the back of the place, so it would be a nice place to hang out. The staff was very friendly. Prices are a little bit high for some of the baked goods, but you can get some of the cookies for $1-$2... And that's reasonable!
