Jan 28, 2019 Efficient roofers. Too many hurdles with scheduling.
Overall I would recommend the work of Stutzman and Knopf. Their roofers showed up early and worked efficiently to complete the job in one day. They did however forget to re-attach 2 screws on existing flashing and left over 10 nails in the gutter over our deck. I will say I only found one nail on the deck and none elsewhere which is much appreciated. My biggest concern it the time and hassle it took to get our roof project scheduled. I had to repeatedly call and leave messages with numerous employees over serveral weeks to finally confirm a service date. The process made me question whether or not to use Stutzman and Kropf. Ultimately I am satisfied with the product but frustrated with the process. Please let me know if you have additional questions. Sincerely, Paul

We knew our roof was in bad shape, so when it came to replacement, they were direct by letting us know our options and needs, along with a thorough explanation for the reasons why. We were able to stay within our budget, even with additional expenses due to the condition of the roof, and feel that S&K did a wonderful job with the extra effort needed to get our roof back in working condition. The first night sleeping under our new roof brought a huge sense of relief, knowing the job was done and done right.

May 19, 2018 Good and bad
needed a pre-purchase inspection and/or estimate on a home we were considering buying. Got the estimate in just a few days after making the request. Had a few questions and my call was returned promptly and questions answered. A few days later the home was purchased and called to confirm having the roof replaced. That was in November and was told work would be done early spring. I assumed that was due to weather. From that point on calling with questions and getting someone to return my call was horrible. I called numerous times and usually had to call more than once before getting a response. I was talking to the same person each time (Dennis) which I assumed was the way they wanted it done. Finally in late March when I asked about an update on install time I was told Dennis has nothing to do with anything but the estimate and he would have someone else call me!! A couple of days later my wife called ( I was tired of it all ) and advised them that if they didn't call back we would find another company to which we promptly got a call and an install date. The install crew was awesome, professional, courteous, and did everything that the estimate said they would do. They completed the work in two days and 48 hours after that it rained and I had a leak in my garage dripping down onto my car. They promptly returned and after I showed them where the leak was and what cause it they replaced all 15 of the new vents that they had just installed as they were the wrong ones. If my garage had an enclosed ceiling I may have had 15 small leaks that I never could have seen till it was to late. I would give the install crew a 5 star but the rest a 1 star.

Stutzman & Kropf came through when we needed a new roof in a hurry. They were competitively priced and easy to work with. The crew did a beautiful job in a short amount of time. They are nice guys and it was a pleasure to have them working on our house. I definitely recommend Stutzman & Kropf.

I wish we had gotten onto your schedule sooner because the job was delayed until November (not the best weather) but your crew was hardworking and courteous,completing the job quickly including the extras of remounting our weather station equipment. The cleanup was thorough; they even removed the tree branches that we cut to prepare room for your trucks. Definitely a five star job. Thank you.
