The employees were very nice and helpful. The camp was quiet and clean. But the tent site were were on was very small and not very flat.
I absolutely would but would adjust by bringing a smaller tent. I think with a 2 or 3 person tent we would have been fine.
I can't rave enough about this place and the people there. Norma is amazing. Very kind and welcoming and always there to help with whatever it is you need. My fiance and I just started our camping experience so although we don't have a lot to compare to yet we are more than pleased with our stay at Shamrock. Its a small quaint and quiet place. As it was just myself and my fiance who went it was nice and relaxing. If I had younger kids I am not sure how it would have been but there were plenty of kids around the campground riding bikes etc. It is the end of the season so the pool was closed and no "activities" but it was exactly what we wanted. The bathroom facilities were very clean. The other people who are seasonal campers were beyond kind and welcoming. Although you are just a weekend camper they treat you like one of their own. I will definitely be coming back. The trip was 5 hours for us but worth every minute of relaxation when you get there.
