I called Senior Helpers Friday morning and talked to Emily Reed. The hospital had discharged my brother the night before and he needed 24 hour care, he was discharged without any advance notice,@ 5;00pm. We stayed with him that night and knew that we were not able to handle his needs. I called Senior Helpers and Miss Emily Reed TO THE RESCUE!!!!!! She understood the situation we were in, and came over right after lunch. She evaluated my brother and we had a sitter for the 3rd shift Friday night and over the weekend. This helped out immensely, and gave us time off. She was able to schedule for the upcoming week a full time 24 sitter, unfortunately, my brother went back in the hospital Sunday morning. Senior Helpers responded to our needs where other agencies said it would be several weeks before they could schedule. The sitters were helpful, trustworthy clean and VERY PROFFESIONAL in everything they did.
