Jimmy was our amazing waiter, very attentive and had jokes... Jimmy with the jokes ❤️ The food was delicious and well overpriced as expected. Everyone liked their food with an average of 9 out of 10 as the rating. The steak was reported as dry, but that could've been because of the way it was ordered. Jimmy did say this was a slow night so maybe the service is different on a weekend. Bless his heart for having patience with our crowd of 20+
We were starving!! We went on a bike ride on the Legacy Trail and thought we'd find something to eat along the way, not the case! Until we found Sedona Taphouse, thank goodness!! No better place to get a cold one than a taphouse that has endless taps as well as bottles & cans!
We were greeted with a smile and sat right away in an empty restaurant, right next to the only other people in the place! Perhaps spreading people out just a bit when they can would be a better idea! It took our server, Heather, awhile to appear, she seemed rushed and in a hurry, so in turn, we felt we had to rush. As soon as our beer orders were out of our mouths she hustled away, no mention of appetizers or specials. Service was definitely off for such an empty place. Heather was attentive during our time there but again, very rushed.
The pork on the Canyon Nachos was delicious and super tender. Problem was, it was literally drowned in a gummy, chalky cheese sauce that was cold! The guacamole was also very good and thank goodness for the dry chips under the top layer, we were able to enjoy the pork and guacamole! I had the shrimp tacos which were fabulous and hubby had the Devil's Pass pasta and it was also fabulous! Definitely add the sausage, it's tasty!
