Brought back great memories as I visited for the first time since the mid 90s. All of the nostalgia is still there and love the updated rides (Superstar, Adrenalin, Power Surge, Riptide, and the Sea Viper is AWESOME). Tickets are very reasonable and best value is the unlimited pass. We went on a Friday afternoon and had no lines which is just an added bonus. Go have fun!
The Palace Playland was an easy 10 minute walk from our vacation stay, and my two teenage daughters enjoyed it (13 & 15). We are from Syracuse NY, and it was our first vacation to Old Orchard Beach (and Maine, in general). The Palace Playland reminded me of a Field Days most towns would have, but bigger. It is a quaint park that has the same joy and excitement of a bigger park. It was worth the walk, for both the smiles and the memories. The rides are fun for all ages, and the view of the pier/ beach from the ferris wheel is beautiful.
