Norman Regional Oncology

I was pretty bitter & angry over getting cancer to begin with, so I wasn't in the best of spirits. However, the entire staff throughout my whole process were amazing. They were ALL so positive, compassionate & understanding. I truly felt like they became more "friends" rather than a normal patient/staff relationship. Because of them and the level of comfort/support they provided me, they made my entire treatment more bearable. I cannot rave about them enough! Although it's not a "normal" customer service situation and people don't choose to get cancer, I want people to know that the level of service they provide will help you emotionally. These are amazing people, and I am forever grateful that I had such a positive experience with them. They definitely made my situation more tolerable, and I became more positive because of their treatment throughout. If you have the unfortunate diagnosis of cancer, I highly recommend Norman Regional. Or at least feel confident that you will be treated so well. I cannot thank them enough, and I hate that I cannot remember every single staff member's name that I worked with because they all deserve personal recognition. ♥️ Thank you guys for everything you did for me!

Professional staff. The oncology nurses are amazing! Dr. Thorp is wonderful and so knowledgeable. She speaks to you in layman’s terms, so I understand. I am educated so I didn’t like the first oncologist I had at another hospital who just shrugged if he didn’t know the answer to a question!😖 Dr. Thorp tells you the answer. 😊 All the oncologists are women!
