#1 fried potatoes with eggs bacon and biscuit and orange juice. Omelettes are good. Waffles look good. But the fried breakfast potatoes are a texture experience, crispy outside soft inside tasty and delicious
Classic American diner that's good enough to eat at every week
They have a banquet room and are pros at larger groups. They handled twelve of us with sweat and hussle.
With the five minutes detour off highway 22.
Neufeldts is a clean, cozy, and quaint American diner. I bet this place is busy on Sundays after church (and I bet they do a great breakfast too). Easy to find, lots of parking. My waitress, Esther was helpful and kind.
I had the Neufeldts Burger with Onion Rings (bacon cheeseburger with mushrooms, onions and tomatoes added). Not a huge mushroom guy, but had to try the signature burger. Looked and smelled amazing coming to the table, with the mushrooms melted into the cheese. It was a huge helping of onion rings! Definitely worth it. A mild onion with sweet batter makes for a great side. Great for someone just getting into onion rings and plenty to share!
The Neufeldts Burger was delicious, a solid burger offering that was well worth my journey. I can see why the onions and tomatoes are optional, they balance out the burger very well but overshadow the mushrooms (perfect for me!). The mushrooms aren't overdone and compliment the beef and bacon perfectly. This is a mushroom burger to win over mushroom skeptics. The mushrooms add to the meatiness and don't add any weird textures. The veggies are decent, as is the bun- nothing especially unique but solid and add to the overall quality of the burger. The meat here is expertly grilled - a slight char holds in the juices and gives it just a little crisp. A well seasoned grill adds the perfect taste to the meat, making the Neufeldts Burger a savory and delicious meal. A fun stop in my journey to have a burger in every town in Oregon, and highly recommend for anyone who wants a quality burger.
