The best apple fritter I've ever had. I am absolutely ruined for buying them anywhere else because none come close to Miranda's. One day I managed to get there at just the right time and got one when they were still warm. I still think about that day. The decor and ambiance here is gorgeous too, btw. Even if you don't necessarily like Mexican pastries, do yourself a favor and get a fritter here, you won't regret it.
I used to drive semi-truck across our great nation and southern Canada. I've tried donuts from Los Angeles to Boston, Seattle to Savannah, Toronto to Vancouver, BC. Miranda's has the absolute best I've had in my 55 years....especially their apple fritter! First time visiting? When you walk in grab a grey tray and tongs from the counter by the register. They are strict on this rule but for good reasons and you'll be rewarded by, "oh my God!" tasting treats.
