We could not be any happier with our choice to hire Jennifer as our wedding photographer! She was great at communicating leading up to our wedding day. During the day, she was such a calm and welcoming presence to have around us. She was amazing at giving directions on posing and made us feel beautiful, natural, and at ease. And the CANDIDS! When it came to candids, I never noticed she was there. We have so many amazing photos that we were shocked to get because we never noticed a camera around.
We got our photos back pretty quickly, and to say they are gorgeous and stunning is an understatement. We were originally drawn to Jennifer and her photos because of her artistic eye and vibrant colors. She has a fun and unique perspective, and the photos that she suggested turned out absolutely gorgeous and are so fun. We also loved our wedding colors and funky venue, and those colors and details were captured perfectly. Our day was beautiful and we had the best time, and our pictures reflect the day just as I remember. I cannot wait to have these photos for a lifetime and cannot recommend Jennifer enough! Jennifer was an absolutely amazing photographer and an even better person! Which is saying a lot because she's an insanely good photographer. We decided to elope a little over a month before our dating anniversary and contacted Jennifer hoping she'd be free.
She quickly responded, even though she was on vacation out of the country, and had no problems with us asking her to hike 5 miles to capture our elopement on the side of a cliff. Even though it was a small elopement with only Jennifer and our 2 best friends, her excitement for us helped make us feel so at ease and made the entire day more special and fun.
The way she jumped in and told us how to pose and what to do in photos was perfect. We're both awkward and don't take a lot of pictures together, but we were able to feel almost an instant connection with Jennifer and she made us feel so comfortable. It made a huge difference in our photos, we definitely came off so much more candid and authentic in our pictures. They all feel so true to us and not overly posed.
We still can't believe that these are the photos of our wedding. They're so much better than we could have ever imagined. I don't know how we will ever be able to decide which ones are our favorites to have prints to hang in our house. They're all so perfect, and I really give all credit to Jennifer. She wasn't afraid to lay on the ground, climb into trees, or hike back to the car in the dark just to get the best photo.
We really couldn't have picked a better photographer or person to have with us during our very small and intimate elopement. I couldn't recommend anyone more to capture the special moments of your life!
