Very Bad Experience

To who this may concern. We had a back up to our septic system. The technician pointed out early that he would try to snake it, but if it is with the septic, he can do nothing. I said ok. MY wife pointed out how overly happy he seemed to deliver bad news. I asked the price, he said 400+. i said, what happens if this doesnt work with your camera, he said that he could try and snake it, or we do the water injection type of treatment. I said, how much is that, he replied, you don't even want to know. What kind of an answer is that? He brought it up. He snaked the line and got caught on some tiny tree roots but did not solve the problem. He then said that means that my pipe is all cracked and i have major issues with the pipe leading to the septic. he said he felt bad for me because i had a nice deck out there that would have to come off because that pipe needs to be replaced. We opened the septic up and he said my septic was too full and i now had a problem leading to the septic and a major problem in the yard. I would likely need a whole new septic system and drain field. but he was not a septic inspector and couldn't be sure. I paid almost 500$ for him to snake and get stuck. did not solve the problem and gave us horrible news about a 25000 to 50000 fix for our septic, yet i still need to call the septic company to get it cleaned out. So not only was our problem not solved because he couldn't snake it to clear, both my wife and i were now under the impression that the only way to fix this was likely a new back yard, a new deck to get access to all the pipes and a whole new septic system. I called the septic guy who came to measure the levels, and stated that the septic is exactly how it should be, and in good working order. They recommended another plumber to snake the main line to the septic because it seemed to still be blocked. I called their plumber, the guy came in, cut the main line in the house, put a flashlight down the line and showed me a blockage about 4 feet outside the house. He pushed his snake through, broke the blockage in about 2 minutes, put the line back together and was gone in about an hour total from start to finish for a quarter of the price i paid Hy Pro. The technician from hypro told us about all of the worst case scenarios, how much money we were likely going to need to spend and it turned out that his snake was not powerful enough to push the blockage. The new plumber said he would only use that type of snake if the blockage was in the house. I know you provide emergency service and i am sure you have some great technicians, but the service we received was awful. He did spend time there while i dug out the septic lid which i appreciated as he said it was a last ditch effort, but all of his news was incredibly negative. Even our neighbors were amazed by how negative the guy was. We didn't sleep at all that night just to find out the next morning what truly amazing service is from our septic company and the new plumber.
