Still Waiting for the Job to Be Completed

I had a technician come to my house to switch a water softener. The switch was completed, the technician had made a considerable mess during the operation, the technician was preparing to leave and I had to ask if he would clean up the mess he made during the process, very reluctantly he did, with my help I may add. The old water softener was supposed to have been removed as part of the service, the technician did not remove the old machine. He said he would be back 2 days later on the Saturday to remove the old machine. Saturday has come and gone, the technician did not show up, there was no follow up call or a reschedule. I am now stuck with an old machine to get rid of after having already paid for the service. Overall the new machine works but from a customer service perspective I am not happy being left to finish the job myself after having paid for a service. I would recommend being very cautious before hiring this company.
