Needless Customer Gouging!!!

I spoke with office staff on Friday 2-3x concerned about my kitchen faucet needing repair ASAP because I was having company over for our Labour Day BBQ on Saturday. Finally, realizing I didn't have any other options, I booked our service call for between 9-11am Saturday. To my horror, we got a call indicating they could not come at that time, it would be closer to 3pm... right in the middle of our BBQ, "if at all" they said. When the plumber arrives, we are charged $600 for his one hour service call and a bottom of the line faucet that I could have purchased at Home Depot for around $150! Shame on me for agreeing to it but like I said, we were in the middle of a BBQ with a dozen or so people around and no use of our kitchen sink! My husband tried to follow up with the manager on Tuesday, but they have yet to return his messages. And the sad part is we've been using Hy Pro for our plumbing needs since 2014 without cause or concern. And like a few other reviews, we had great service from Sunny Hayer as recent as July 2019! But this is pretty much unforgettable, even if it was the long weekend!
