Highway Robbery
I had a small pinhole leak below the shutoff in one copper pipe in upstairs bathroom. 10 minute job max. Was not an emergency job so turned off water and booked the night before. They won’t tell you price on phone and no hourly rate at all. Guy shows up and says $399.99 plus tax yet can’t defend how he came up with that price. I told him politely to get out of my house. Even he admitted price was way too high for a job that size and he understood. So I called Hammond plumbing and they will do it for $150/hr. Will never call or use Hy Pro again.
