Disappointed
I've been a customer for several years and I recently needed a technician to diagnose my toilet not draining properly. After some investigation he suggested that the toilet trap may be the problem. He told me the price ($150) to snake the toilet. He also provided the cost to auger the main line just in case the toilet trap wasn't the problem. These options were considerably more expensive and I assumed the technician knew best so I agreed to snake the toilet. After about 10 mins of snaking, he stopped and told me this wasn't the problem. At that point the costs to repair were going to be much higher so I decided to go to Lowes, buy a $20, 25ft snake, took my toilet out and cleaned the pipe that needed snaking in the first place! This fixed my drainage problem. What is very disappointing is that I payed $150 for a service that didn't fix the problem. I don't know any other service where you pay full price for something that doesn't work? I realize there has to be a minimum cost for the service call but the right thing to do would have been to offer a significant discount. You have lost a long time customer.
