September is drawing to a close and Fall is upon us. We’re about to experience cool weather, beautifully colored leaves, the explosion of pumpkin spice everything and proudly don the color pink. October is breast cancer awareness month, and it’s right around the corner.

As wonderful as the fall vibes are, breast cancer is no joke. 1 in 8 women in the US receive a diagnosis of breast cancer in their lifetime.[1] Besides skin cancers, breast cancer is the most common cancer for women in America. The American Cancer Society estimates 2024 will see 310,720 new cases of invasive breast cancer and 56,500 new cases of non-invasive breast cancer in the US. The good news is, there are over 4 million survivors in the US! (National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2024)

This October, Hubbard Mechanical wants to take a bigger step to give back to our community, so we’re giving away 4 prizes to help individuals impacted with breast cancer achieve the ultimate home comfort. What could we giveaway that will help provide the ultimate home comfort? How about two (2) brand new HVAC systems? That’s still not enough? What about two (2) brand new water heaters?

Yes, you read that right! We’re aiming to bless four (4) individuals who are breast cancer survivors or currently receiving treatment with one of the four items listed above.

Our goal is to help lift the spirits of those impacted by breast cancer and provide them with more comfort in their own home. If you are currently undergoing treatment for or are a survivor of breast cancer, this giveaway is for you!

Where do I sign up?

Written nominations must be submitted through the official giveaway link, which can be found here. You can nominate yourself or another individual you feel needs one of the giveaway items. Nominations are unlimited in number and may be sent by multiple individuals. Are you part of a group of friends, family or co-workers who want to nominate someone? Have each person submit a nomination!

What else do I need to know?

The giveaway is for residents of Central Kentucky (see giveaway for location specifics). Installation of new water heaters or HVAC systems will be scheduled on an individual basis with each giveaway winner. Installations will be completed before the end of 2024.
