5 Star Review By Joe LaFerriere
The soft-opening menu was a sampling of brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and jalapeño cheddar sausage. The bar was also serving up some great local beers from Cedar Creek Brews and Panther Creek! The food prepared by Single Tree was exceptional. The brisket was tender with a nice bark, the ribs were fall off the bone, the pulled pork was firm and moist with great flavor. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was so darn good, some of the best I’ve enjoyed in Tennessee. I learned this sausage is from TN Meat Co. Both the mild and hot BBQ sauces Charlie put together are a great compliment for the meats. You know this will be a win/win when the sides are exceptional and really are a complement to the meal. The Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Coleslaw are homemade and all had great flavors and would be a meal by themselves. The staff at Heroes Den did a great job making sure everyone was well taken care of and the atmosphere here is very inviting and I loved the decor. Congratulations Single Tree BBQ and Heroes Den on their new partnership and impressive soft-opening. On opening night I went with the chicken sandwich he described to me previously. While Single Tree may be extremely well known for their BBQ, this chicken sandwich I tried is incredible!!!
