I was at another facility who kept raising rent. my son started lookung for somewhere else to meet my needs. My son and his wife signed me up and said ,,"Mom, youre going to love it, and I do" I love the residents and all the entertainment. Everyone is so nice. My favorite thing about Friendship Towers is that I feel like I am at home. my family is always welcome.
Two of my friends moved into Sayre Christian a few months ago. They absolutely love it & so do I. Sometimes the move to a retirement home is full of sadness, but Sayre is different; it's a happy place, & they both love it. They are both in independent living apartments, & someone checks on them once or twice a day asks if you have taken your meds, & will come in to clean - if you want. You're not required to stay there 365 days a year either; my friends are on a 12 day trip right now. They have the facilities to age with you as your mobility decreases. It's a beautiful, vibrant place & though I'm a couple of decades away from needing a retirement home, this is definitely where I want to be when the time comes.
