Matt and the crew have had to put up with multiple crises on our property due to bridge construction this past year. They have bent over backwards to deal with problems while, at the same time, tending with diligence to the normal maintenance activities. Communication problems are addressed in a timely manner.The crew is cheerful and polite.
The crew of Luke and Juan was outstanding. They were professional, courteous, hard working and just wonderful in every way. I would recommend the 2 of them for any job. Their work ethic is A-one!
Matt takes a vested interest in the quality of the landscaping maintenance. He remains available and does is absolute best to accomodate the challenges that arise from a client with high expectations. I'd recommend DeSantis to anyone looking to balance quality, economical service and environmental stewardship.

I just wanted to say your guys did a GREAT job!! I really appreciate that they did such a nice job of cleanup ? and they had to work around a lot of blooming plants, etc, and they must have been very careful because nothing looks disturbed at all. I am SOOOO impressed. I have to admit, I am pretty picky and I really appreciate it when workers are so careful!!<br />
We originally contracted with DeSantis to clear our yard (which was FULL of weeds!), mow and maintain our lawns, and keep the weeds down in our flower beds. They did a fantastic job with a real nightmare yard, and everything looks fantastic now! I really cannot believe how green and lush our lawns look. Because we were growing vegetables in our backyard, I was very concerned about only organic products being used in that area. They were one of the few companies we interviewed who agreed to do this for us at a rate competitive with the companies who wanted to "nuke" our yards with Round-Up (and, really, why pay hundreds of dollars when you can spray Round-Up yourself?). Because the results were so fantastic, we asked them to help us design our yard, and we can't wait to see what they come up with! This is a really great company to work with; they really listen to what their customers ask for, and go above and beyond to accommodate.

DeSantis has helped me maintain over two acres of lawn, gardens, and grounds for several years now, and I have found that all of their work is of the highest quality. They respond immediately to any requests I make, their service is timely and everyone on their crew is polite and enjoyable to work with, and their landscape work is beautiful! I constantly get compliments on how wonderful my property looks year-round. Most important (to me), they really work with me as a team, respecting the work in the yard that I want to do myself, respecting my ideas and input, and respecting the choices I make regarding what work to do (and not to do). I highly recommend them for any kind and scope of yard design, maintenance, or help!

I am pleased to share my experience with DeSantis Landscapes at the Meriwether Condo Association in the South Waterfront. Since mid-2008, before CMI was retained as the management company, the HOA was having frustrations with the service they were receiving from their landscaping company. When CMI took over, we began to challenge the landscaper with little or no results, and the Board asked us to put the landscaping out to bid with five different contractors. The top three were interviewed intensively and ultimately DeSantis Landscapes was awarded the contract. What stood them apart was their familiarity with LEED buildings, salmon safe practices, willingness to provide whatever level of service the customer desired, passion for the unique urban landscaping in the South Waterfront and, best of all, their value. Their bid worked out to be even less than the previous landscaper had been charging, and quite a bit cheaper than the competitors, but they offered extra "goodies" like compost tea applications, soil testing, zero herbicide treatment, etc. They really are pioneers of the ?green landscaping? movement, and have been practicing this long before it was popular. One of the things I?m impressed with is how they are working proactively (at no charge) with CMI to inform residents of the ecologically friendly practices at the property that most residents are not even aware of (such as how a bio swale works, the benefits of an eco-roof, etc.). It is my job to oversee the maintenance contracts for the Meriwether and I'm not going to say that DeSantis has been perfect, but the difference in the plants has been night and day. Additionally, their crew boss who is present weekly is a wizard and their managerial staff are extremely attentive and responsive, they remain one of my best vendors in any field. As a final commendation, we?ve been struggling with several of the eco roofs, and DeSantis has come up with some very innovative ideas that they put into practice last year in some test plots, and they?ve proven to be very successful; the HOA is now looking at implementing their recommendation on a larger scale.
The guys who take care of our lawn maintenance are consistenly thorough, reliable and professional. It is a joy to know that when Friday comes around, we can come home to a job always well done. They are the best!
DeSanti Landscapes has done more than landscape installation for me---sprinkler system,,yard and lawn maintenance, stonework on the side of house. It has all been done with the greatest of care and concern. They are always ready to answer my questions and help me in solving any landscape problems or changes I would like to make. I appreciate the dedication to their top of the line work!
The team arrives regularly every week. They do basic maintenance chores quickly and cleanup after themselves before leaving. Additional maintenance generally requires that I make specific requests via email. Verbal requests are frequently forgotten. These tasks can include pruning, plant feeding & tasks to keep the lawn really healthy.
The floods of January caused us to need a new French drain. We received many bids for the work. Ben Snowden's bid was WAY below the others. In fact, it was so much lower, I actually called to verify that he had his numbers straight! He was so gracious, especially given my doubts. ;-) Thanks to his bid, we selected DeSantis, and I'm so very glad we did. Ben & his team were PERFECT. They were punctual, patient, courteous, informative, thorough, expeditious & tidy! They went far above and beyond what was planned and expected. They not only finished the job in a very timely fashion, but they left the site far, far nicer than they found it. I have told everyone I know on Facebook and Twitter that you guys ROCK! I wish there were more stars because Ben and Luke went over and above in every aspect of our project. These two professionals are a real asset to your organization! The rain fell, the air had a chill and a blanket of hail covered the ground; Ben and Luke did not run for cover, they worked hard through the elements. Their clothes were wet, muddy and cold but they saw each other's needs, smiled and gave beauty to our home! An absolute blessing! I thought that I liked my yard chores, the fun of coming home after a 10 hour day to sunshine on a well groomed yard and watching the kids drink lemonade and play on the swings while I toiled away trying to keep up with the beast that just keeps growing back every time I get it done. The great conversations with my wife about how excited we were to have a weekend of weed pulling and pruning coming up! And the $300 trips to the lawn care supply store that just seem to eat a whole day up even if you only need one item. Then I got DeSantis Landscapes - Changed My Life...
