We called D & F Plumbing because we have used them and trusted them for 40 years. We had lost hot water pressure in the kitchen sink. He didn't do any troubleshooting and said repiping was the only option. When I mentioned that all the piping on the second floor was new, he pushed back and said he could replace the line from the hot water heater to the kitchen sink for $2000 and again pressured us to repipe the house. Again, he did no troubleshooting. We called a competent plumber who cleared the clog in less than 15 minutes for $180 and the hot water pressure in the sink is now glorious. I understand the D & F is under new management, full of hustle and complete up-selling. So grateful that my gut was telling me that I was being scammed. Avoid them at all costs, pun intended.
