Watching their commitment to kids and families with limited resources, I wish I could rate them higher. The lady that gave them 1 star is obviously a person that neglected her child. The CASA volunteers represent children and are independently judging situations where abuse occur all on behalf of our court/social service system that is truly bogged down. This is a much needed organization. Please help support their efforts!!
CASA's mission of helping neglected and abused kids is an important one. People may not know that this is happening in Fayette county and surrounding areas, but it is, just look at the statistics. It doesn't get much coverage because these cases are sealed in court and can't be brought to light like other societal issues like domestic violence or animal abuse. Don't be fooled, this isn't happening in other places, it is happening right here in our town. Invest in the future and help give neglected and abused kids an opportunity to live a happy and healthy life without neglect and abuse.
