Bethesda is what so many children/families need. Our child had spoken to multiple therapists/counselors prior to someone finally referring us to Bethesda. Being unsure of what to expect and not really knowing what the experience would be, we felt it could only benefit us to see what it had to offer. Nothing had worked up to this point, we felt extremely hopeless. It was an absolute life saving and changing experience for our family. It is a combination of working with children and parents to allow a child and their family to completely heal from whatever trauma they may have experienced. They guide parents through the process, giving them the tools they need to truly understand their child's needs and teach effective ways to communicate with each other. Bethesda will work one on one, as well as group therapy, which is extremely effective. The support does not end once treatment is over, they always leave the door open for future needs. Some may even have the opportunity to come back and help others, which is just another healing step. To this day, years after treatment, we still remain in contact, it has been amazing. I would highly recommend Bethesda Norman to anyone struggling with a trauma in their child's life.
