4 Star Review By Gary Benjamin
Campgrounds are great! Plenty of spots to choose from. Bayley's is really setup for RVs, as it seemed like every spot had water and electricity, but they do let rooftop campers in no problem. As I was camping late in the season (and admittedly, did not thoroughly plan my trip), most of the campgrounds were closed except for Bayley's. When I called to check for availability, the lady I spoke with on the phone was warm and welcoming. She confirmed that they did have spaces available and I could come down and pick any open space. This place was definitely setup for those that were passing through or there for the long haul, but overall the grounds were very clean and well kept. It looks like it's geared toward families as there were put-put courses, playgrounds and ponds to go fishing. The only item that I would raise a complaint about were the state of the men's bathroom, specifically the toilets. They could be a little cleaner. Overall great location would definitely stay there in future camp trips and we recommend this campground to anyone passing through Maine.
