When it comes to an economic recession, the question is "when," not "if." Howard Tullman, in his article for Inc., describes the four Rs—relationships, reassurance, raising the bar, and retention—as a way to prepare for an economic downturn. I've been thinking about four other R words as guideposts for the hunkering down that the guys and gals who want to stick around should start doing right about now.
