New Year’s Workshop
This New Year, join David and Bethany Johnson, Wes and Paula Holt, and Rachel Tollbom for an enlightening workshop on setting sustainable goals for your mind, body, and soul in 2024. The workshop, held at Ike Box Story Hall, will offer a comprehensive look at whole-person health. Topics include goal setting, creating supportive nutrition plans, engaging in enjoyable fitness activities, nurturing healthy relationships, exploring the connection between fitness and faith, understanding addictions and habit loops, and much more.
For just $25 per person, you’ll receive valuable printed materials, content-packed sessions, a wholesome breakfast, snacks, coffee, and water. Bike Ride to Mount Angel
Join Salem Social Cyclists for a scenic 40-mile ride to Mt. Angel! Starting at REI in Keizer Station, they’ll take a group journey through picturesque country roads. Once in Mt. Angel, you’ll take a break to grab some food and enjoy each other’s company.
Riders of all abilities and bike types are welcome to join. It’s a great opportunity to meet fellow cycling enthusiasts in the area, explore the beautiful landscapes, and have a fun and active day out.

Spotlight Storytelling: Indigenous Storyteller
Experience a captivating storytime featuring Esther Stutzman at the Salem Public Library. Stutzman, of the Kalapuya and Coos tribes, will be highlighting the rich stories, music, and culture of the Kalapuya people. While the session is tailored for younger listeners, it is free and open to all—with seating offered on a first-come, first-seated basis.

Bubbles & Brunch at Ankeny Vineyard
This year, Ankeny Vineyard is starting the first Sunday of the year with an all-day brunch extravaganza. On January 7th, guests can indulge in a breakfast wood-fired pizza, biscuits and gravy, frittatas, parfaits, and more from their exclusive Bubbles & Brunch menu. Of course, no brunch at Ankeny Vineyard is complete without their signature mimosas!
To take part in this special brunch, guests can choose any reservation option for Sunday, January 7th. The regular food menu will be replaced with the all-day brunch menu for this Sunday only.
