‘Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike’ is the 2013 winner of the Tony Award for Best Play. Written by Christopher Durang, the comedy revolves around the relationships of three middle-aged single siblings, two of whom live together, and takes place during a visit by the third, Masha, who supports them.

Experience a captivating fusion of live music and spoken word based on the poetry of Dasan Ahanu, an acclaimed poet, spoken word artist, and emcee. This unique show features Dasan’s powerful words set against the dynamic backdrop of jazz and soul, offering a performance that intertwines his poetry with creative interpretations of Andre Benjamin, aka Andre 3000’s, musical works, including Outkast songs and surprise guests. The event is not just a performance but a celebration of self-determination and resilience, a battle cry for those who defy expectations. Alongside the show, there’s an opportunity to purchase and have your copy of the chapbook, “a brilliant uncertain rebellion,” signed by Dasan Ahanu himself.

The 2023 Sundance Film Festival Short Films Tour is a 90-minute theatrical program of seven short films curated from the 2023 Sundance Film Festival, including two Festival Award-winning titles. Feb 3 2:00 PM, Feb 4 5:00 PM – The Iron Claw
Directed by Sean Durkin, the film is a poignant and powerful portrayal of the Von Erich family, known for their significant contributions and tragedies in the world of professional wrestling. The film focuses particularly on Kevin Von Erich (played by Zac Efron) and dives deep into the family dynamics, exploring the impact of the patriarch Fritz Von Erich (Holt McCallany), an ex-wrestler who pushes his sons into the wrestling world. The story, set in the early 1980s, is filled with intense emotions and dramatic wrestling scenes, capturing the essence of the era and the sport.

Cary Downtown Farmers Market

The Cary Downtown Farmers Market has been getting fresh since 1996! Today it hosts local farmers from within a 100 mile radius of downtown Cary. These growers stick to environmental best practices, using minimal fertilizers and chemicals, including no post-harvest chemicals. And, they practice responsible methods of raising meat animals, and near-organic methods of growing crops. In addition to local farmers, you’ll also get to discover and sample the products of local artisans such as coffee roasters, bakers, and craftsmen. Located at 160 E.
