If you live or work in the mid-Willamette Valley, you’ve no doubt seen the results of the work that Rich Duncan and his team at Rich Duncan Construction have built.

As one of the leading general contractors in the area, they build and remodel buildings. Lots of them. Recent projects include well-known brands such as Chick-fil-A, Starbucks (on Mission St.), and McDonalds.

They also are the contractor of choice for many local companies, such as the newly opened Ace Hardware East (on Lancaster), The Reed Opera House, and  J. Jean Portraits.

But even more important than buildings and construction for Rich Duncan and his team is building community. It’s just part of their DNA and culture.

After the devastating wildfires two years ago in the Santiam Canyon, Rich Duncan took the reigns of a rebuilding effort and engaged with many other community-minded partners to build a new Detroit Community & Civic Center. Rich and his wife Shelly had to evacuate Detroit during the fire, so they know first hand the devastating effects of the fire and knew they had to do something about it.

They were recently honored with multiple awards, including the Business of the Year Award from the Salem Chamber of Commerce and the Canyon Beautification & Improvement from the North Santiam Chamber of Commerce for the Detroit Community Center.

The Detroit Community Center is just one of many community-building projects and organizations that Rich Duncan Construction is involved with every year.

Probably most importantly, they build community within their own organization. They love on their people, getting to know their families, and providing a great place to work.

If you’d like more information about how Rich Duncan Construction can help you build or make tenant improvements for your next building, build community, or you’re even interested in a new career position, visit their website and/or give Rich and his team a call today.
