One of our favorite things to do is to promote local businesses. Here’s a local business that we’d like to build a lot of “buzz” about! The name of the business is Flying Bee Ranch and the owners are Jeremy Mitchell and Delsey Maus. If you love honey, you’ve GOT to stop by their honey tasting room located at 5180 Lardon Rd NE, Salem, OR 97305. They are open Tuesday-Saturday from 9 AM – 5 PM.

We stopped in to pick up a gift card and a bottle of their local honey. Who knew there were SO MANY different flavors of honey to choose from, with each having their own individual flavor! Being able to sample the different kinds of honey and learn about what makes them unique was a wonderful experience. As a local beekeeper, Jeremy’s breadth of knowledge about bees and honey is amazing. When you buy local honey from Flying Bee Ranch, not only are you buying an amazing product produced right here in the Willamette Valley, but you are also supporting a great local business who in turn provides sustainability for our local farmers and the crops they produce.
