Despite the smoky haze in the air, the Kingwood Bible Church Annual Neighborhood BBQ and Car Show was held as planned from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in the parking lot of Kingwood Bible Church in West Salem. The annual event is always a big hit with the locals, and it’s the perfect opportunity for neighbors to get to know each other better. There was plenty of delicious food, music, and also entertaining activities for the kids including a bounce house and face painting.
In addition to the BBQ, there was a car show with different types of cars, ranging from classic cars to modern sports cars and included the opportunity for admirers to vote on their favorite. Even the kids got to participate and cast their vote in the “Kids Choice” category.
