Was team host for years at state tournament the fans,students,faculty and team and coaches are the best that I had dealt with and i would recommend this school to anyone sending there children to school best around.
I have experienced Western both as a student and a parent and I highly recommend it. The faculty and staff are caring, supportive and want to see their students succeed. I love the small class sizes because it allows the students to be involved in many extracurriculars and really bond with their classmates.

at my previous school I thought I had some pretty good friends, but once I came to Western I realized friendships are taken to a whole new level. Since its a small school you get to know everyone, and I can say that I've made many relationships that will last a lifetime. Western was the best school I could have ever hoped to attend, and I'm super glad that I did. I would highly recommend this school anyone that wants deep friendships and great schooling, as well as a deeper understanding of faith.
Our family is absolutely blessed to be a part of the WMS community. We love the quality Christian education, the students and staff are amazing, and the sports programs are exceptional.
My Mom, my 2 siblings and I, my 4 children, and multiple cousins have graced the halls of this wonderful school. I have visited a lot of schools both Christian and non, over the years, and I have never seen any, that have generations of alumni/staff that keep coming back year after year for games, concerts, events, and fundraisers in support of their beloved WMS. It's just hard to explain it, but everyone welcomes new families right into it and they too become a part of this great, supportive ,loving community of people. I think it's just God's hand that binds us together in an unexplainable way.
Both my kids attended and graduated from Western. They participated in many things including student government, soccer, small groups, basketball, chapel, baseball, choir, service projects, international club and some of the most fun student sections you will ever witness at sporting events! You truly won't believe this is a small school when you see the support they have at every type of event. My kids made friends from all around the world that will be their lifelong friends. They had caring teachers and staff who were genuinely interested in their distinct personalities and abilities and wanted to see them maximize their potential in all areas. Some people think private schools are just for rich kids -- this is just not true of WMS. Alumni and other supporters believe so much in the experience here that they make scholarships available to a huge number of kids, greatly lessening the financial impact to families. You just won't find another school that can have so much positive impact on your children and your family.
WMS is an amazing school with dedicated, caring and Christ centered teachers and staff. We are so thankful that our children have had the opportunity to be a part of this school. The community is strong and the friendships are lifelong. My oldest told me that he would like his kids to go to the school one day because of his own personal experience. A true testimony of the impact the School had had on him. The academics have been appropriately challenging and have prepared my kids well for college. We are thankful for this school and look forward to seeing it continue to grow and be a place where more students can experience the community, compassion and academic challenge it offers. Points we consider important when discussing the education of our children. Spiritual, Intellectual, and finally Social. Under the watchful eye of Al Stefan, the administration and all who interact with our children this environment is conducive to the growth and well being of all 3 of our children who attend. What a community and what a school!
Transferring my son to Western Mennonite was the best decision we have made. His confidence is amazing, has made genuine friendships & loves the positive atmosphere from not only the students but the staff as well.
As a proud alum and parent, we love the Western Mennonite community. Our kids are 3rd generation Pioneers, and we couldn't be happier that they have been able to attend Western, be part of a supportive and yet rigorous academic curriculum, participate in sports, and thrive overall with great teachers, staff, and friends. Thank you, Western, for being a great school.
