On 072722, I was at this location after the call center told me I had to come in. However the bank requires appointments to be made in advance. I had driven 40 miles to come in. Instead of being turned away, the bank manager was very concerned and went out of her way to take care of us. She was very polite and kind and caring. We were very pleased with the service we received at this Umpqua Bank location.
The lady I talked to on the phone was so kind and helpful. She took time to answer all my questions about opening a checking/savings account in detail.
I've been needing to switch banks, and I thought I was calling a credit union (in the moment, I was confused on which bank I was calling).
But despite the fact, I was shopping for a "credit union", the lady I was speaking with still answered all my questions thoroughly, as if I was one of their potential customers.
It makes me want to switch to their bank. Plus, I also liked that I got to speak w/ a local banker than being routed to their call center.
