I came a few times to this restaurant and every time it was a great experience. The menu changes from time to time so you have an extra reason to go back and experience different food. No reservation was made this time, it was Saturday around 8 o’clock and the host was able to give us a table after about 15 minutes wait. We ordered some appetizers and drinks. I will post photos to see the fancy Tuna Cigar that came in a fancy cigar box. Another appetizer we got was the Thai Shrimp. While we were waiting for the food, they brought us some sweet bread and butter. We also got the drinks , two cocktails, which were quite expensive, especially the espresso martini - $20. The prices were not on the menu , I would have chosen probably something else. It was good, however not worth the money. The view is always nice, especially if you can get a table outside. I definitely recommend it.
What a PERFECT evening that exceeded all expectations. To be honest, I came here about 14 years ago, didn't have the best experience, and never came back. I am so so glad that I gave this place another try as it truly was one of the best overall dining experiences I have had I a long time. Kenny was our server and was friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He gave fantastic recommendations! We had the chicken and donuts to start which I was nervous about trying but so glad we did. Great flavor and very unique. Vegetable bisque soup was awesome and the goat cheese was a perfect compliment. My husband and I both had the shrimp and scallops which were phenomenal. One of the most perfectly cooked shrimp I have ever had. Seasoning on the scallops was spot on and was paired perfectly with the black garlic creme fraiche...really highlighted the sweetness. The celery root puree was silky, velvety, and just sumptuous. The mushrooms were delightful. Atmosphere was great and really fantastic service. I will not be waiting another 14 years to go back!
